Dr Chad Mathinussen is a medical doctor and entrepreneur with notable experience in healthcare technology and product design. He has spoken at numerous healthcare technology conferences and is considered one of the most disruptive healthcare thinkers in the African healthcare sector.

Having embarked on multiple successful ventures in the healthcare space, he now heads up Innohealth Technologies and its subsidiaries. A company that uses AI, Machine learning and data science to provide Africa with healthcare solutions that will see all of its people have quality, effective and efficient healthcare. 

​

Abdul Malick Salie is a chartered accountant with over 21 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, capital raising, strategy, commercialization, and business turnaround.

 

He holds directorships in listed and unlisted companies and has previously served as the Chief Investment Officer of a diversified listed investment company, where he successfully listed two segments separately to raise capital for further growth.

 

Additionally, he has worked for multinational groups such as Vodacom and the Naspers Group, and has built various profitable businesses in his private capacity.

Marlon Parker is an experienced Founder with a passion for technology and innovation, who founded the Reconstructed Living Lab (RLabs). which has impacted more than 20 million people in 23 countries. Marlon has received numerous accolades, including being an alumnus of President Obama’s Young African Leaders initiative, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

 

He has also worked extensively with organizations such as Mozilla, BBC, Facebook, Finnish Foreign Ministry, Unicef, UNWomen, Naspers, AWS, Google, World Bank, and Accenture. Additionally, Marlon co-founded JamiiX,  the backbone of one of the world's largest mobile chat networks.

Basil Adriaanse is a clinician, publisher, lecturer, and marketer with over 13 years of experience in the healthcare sector. He has a demonstrated history in practice management, having founded a multisite physiotherapy practice and expanded it to a national physiotherapy-at-home service with the largest provider of hospital-at-home services in the country.

He translated his deep understanding of the private practice sector and merged his learnings in digital and healthcare marketing, as well as legislation, to found Social Medical. Social Medical is an international healthcare marketing and data firm that serves the medical community exclusively with marketing strategy, structures, and data interpretation.

Lejuan Adriaanse is a legal professional with 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She has a demonstrated history of working alongside healthcare organizations, assisting them with human resource management, strategic planning, project management, medico-legal compliance, and medical aid administration.

She has a special interest in relationship and operational management and uses it to great effect within the organization to maximize the value of every collaboration.

Dr Chanell Marthinussen is a medical doctor, renowned women's health advocate, and founder of "The F-Word" women's health platform. She has a passion for social impact and uses it as the driving force behind her role as head of virtual care and women's health, which brings accessible and equitable healthcare to those who need it most.

Her work continues with Innohealth Technologies, where she hopes to impact Africa at large with her bold vision, empowered by the use of novel technologies.

Dr Savannah Smith is a medical doctor with extensive experience in the management of primary and public health. She has a passion and drive for healthcare justice and wants to play her part in introducing groundbreaking and disruptive healthcare technologies to the public.

Her role as chief medical officer sees her implementing strategies for the management of all medical conditions seen through our virtual care and physical clinics, as well as directing our devices and data management teams on various strategies to synthesize and interpret healthcare data.
